mBaaS Introduces AiApp to Restore Broken Small-Business Websites

BUSAN, South Korea, Sep 4, 2026 - Small businesses often depend on websites built by outside agencies or developers, but those sites can become difficult to maintain when software ages, vendors disappear or critical functions stop working. mBaaS Inc. today introduced AiApp, an AI-powered platform designed to restore existing websites instead of forcing businesses to rebuild them from scratch.

AiApp starts with the website a business already has. The platform scans the live URL, identifies outdated or disconnected components and produces an assessment of what can be recovered. It then rebuilds recoverable parts of the service on current software while preserving existing data, content and layout where possible.

The platform also reconnects functions used in day-to-day operations, including member logins, payments, bookings and customer inquiries. The restoration method is covered by Korean patent KR 10-2624044.

For many small businesses, maintaining an existing website can become more difficult than building one in the first place. A company may lose access to the original developer, encounter outdated software or find that key features no longer work properly.

In those cases, the usual solution is often a full rebuild. That can mean starting again with a new vendor, migrating data and recreating features that the business has already paid for once.

AiApp takes a different approach by treating the existing website as the starting point.

“Owners are not asking us for a new website,” said Jeonghyeon Kim, CEO of mBaaS. “They want the one they already paid for to work again.”

According to mBaaS, some projects that typically take an agency three to six months have been completed in one to three days by a single person without a coding background using AiApp. The company also said operating costs were approximately 30% lower in its own deployments. mBaaS has not published third-party benchmarks for those results.

AiApp divides restoration work among specialized AI agents that can operate in parallel and access external tools through the Model Context Protocol, or MCP.

The platform runs on AWS Lambda, supports multiple languages and can produce Android, iOS and mobile web services from a single build. Once a website has been restored, users can request changes by describing what they want to modify. Each change is saved as a separate version so users can roll back when necessary.

AiApp does not guarantee full recovery in every case. Websites built on heavily customized back-end systems may be only partially recoverable. The platform’s initial assessment is intended to identify those limitations before restoration work begins.

mBaaS has entered AiApp in the CES Innovation Awards 2027 program under the Human Security for All category, within the economic security pillar.

The company is positioning AiApp around the idea that small businesses should be able to preserve and continue using digital services they have already invested in, rather than repeatedly replacing them when maintenance becomes difficult.

mBaaS plans to make AiApp’s first public debut at CES 2027, ahead of its scheduled market launch in the first quarter of 2027.
